Lamello LC P-16x22 P-System Connectors - 80 Pack

LC P-16 is a P-System joint for lightweight panels. It combines the advantages of lightweight construction with the efficient and aesthetic Clamex joint. The LC P-16 acts as a receiver for the male halves of Clamex P-14 connectors. Thus, it enables an extremely strong connection in materials made of cardboard or plastic honeycomb, MDF, or hard foam.

The main advantage of the LC P-16 is that it eliminates the need for concealed edges, making it ideal for interior fittings for large shelves, store fixture displays and exhibits, and yacht and aircraft interiors. A groove can be made directly in the honeycomb material using a Zeta P2 with the depth adjuster set to 18mm and the 2mm adjuster cap attached.

To ensure that the next millings are positioned precisely one above the other, the access hole is drilled after the first milling with the Clamex P drill jig with the P-16 interchangeable element insert. The positioning clip on the Zeta P2 engages in the hole and ensures that the millings are positioned exactly on top of each other. A CNC with P-System cutter capabilities can also be used.

LC P-16 is only required for the Clamex P-14 connector halves in the groove on the front side of the lightweight panel. The Clamex P-10 connector halves are pushed directly into the other groove and anchored. Workpieces are then connected in the same process as a Clamex P connector. The result is a fast, smooth process that reduces time and costs in both manufacturing and assembly, without compromising on aesthetics, stability, and quality.

Clamex P-14 Flexus or Clamex P-14 CNC can also be used in the LC-P16 instead of the Clamex P-14 connector halves. The Clamex P-10 connector halves are best suited as counterparts for the surface. If the surface layer is more than 4mm, the Clamex P-14 connector half with its offset profile is also well suited. The Clamex P-10 Medius connector half without lever also works, but is less well guided when sliding in due to its recess on the back.

• Butt joints from a material thickness of 12mm

The LC P-16x22 is suitable for material with a minimum edge thickness of 27mm. Also available as P-16x11 (minimum 12mm) and P-16x17 (minimum 22mm).
