Festool Build Day with Brent Shively
DATE: Saturday, November 8

Brent Shively — host of Festool’s Build Series on YouTube and Product & Application Trainer — will be at OakTree to demo how to create complex compound bevel joints with the CSC SYS 50 Table Saw and DF 500 Domino Joiner.
Travis, our knowledgeable rep, will also be here to with tons of tools you can try for yourself. Pick his brain about all things Festool and get your hands on some of their most popular tools including hand sanders, track saws, the Domino Joiners and even the ExoActive Exoskeleton!
Turning & Sharpening Demo with Fred Inman

Our very own Fred Inman will be here to show the ins and outs of wood turning and turning tool sharpening.
Fred is well known in the woodworking community and has decades of turning experience. If you have been to any art shows in the Fort Wayne and surrounding area, you've likely seen his work! He specializes in spherical objects like vases, bowls and decorative objects, but also makes tables, cutting boards and more.
Osmo Wood Finishes Demo

Our Osmo rep, John, will be coming all the way from North Carolina to demonstrate how to apply the Osmo Polyx Oil, TopOil, and Wood Wax finishes on several different wood surfaces using various application techniques. John will also discuss how hardwax oils are different from other finishes and why we recommend them.
