Brian Sedgeley (also known as Sedge), will be coming back to OakTree Supply to showcase the popular hard-wax oil finish, Rubio Monocoat. He will be covering the basics of their main product, Oil Plus 2C, as well as pre-treatments. He will also discuss proper prep techniques and answer all questions.

CNC Demo

Curious about CNC but not sure where to start? Join us for a beginner-friendly demonstration on the fundamentals of CNC machining! Using Next Wave CNC machines and VCarve software, Aaron will walk you through the complete end-to-end process of bringing digital designs to life.
In this demonstration, you’ll learn programming while we craft a custom wooden sign featuring a mountain range and lettering. This provides you the basics to take a concept to finished product.
What you will learn:
- VCarve Basics: Importing designs, laying out text, selecting toolpaths (V-carving and profile cuts), and generating G-code.
- CNC Machine Setup: Mounting materials, installing bits, setting your X/Y/Z zeroes, and safety protocols.
- Execution: Running your toolpath on Next Wave CNC equipment to cut and carve your finished piece.
