Tried & True Varnish Oil is a natural wood finish made from a superior blend of linseed oil and natural pine resin for added durability and scratch-resistance. Its resilience makes it an ideal finish for high-use surfaces such as tables, countertops, and interior furniture. Varnish Oil is commonly used by woodworking professionals for application to bare wood or overtop an already-stained piece.
Tried & True Wood Finishes are environmentally-friendly products with all natural ingredients that are safe and easy to apply. Instead of a high glossy look as seen with most conventional wood finishes, it will cure to a beautiful satin sheen that is meant to highlight the natural beauty and grain of the wood.

Helpful tip: A common misconception about wood finishes is the more you use, the better it will look. However, using too much product can result in blotchy or uneven finishes, extremely long cure times, and other problems. Tried & True products are meant to be applied extremely thin. A good gauge for this is to apply just enough product to cause a dry-to-wet color shift in the wood without making it look "wet" with oil.
