The Powermatic 2014B Lathe is designed for professional-level performance in a compact, versatile machine. Powered by a 1HP inverter-driven VFD motor, the 2014B delivers smooth three-phase output from a standard 115V single-phase power source,—no special wiring required. With three speed settings to choose from, low (915-900 RPM) medium (30-1,800 RPM), and high (60-3,600 RPM), turners get precise and intuitive control over their projects, from aggressive roughing to fine finish turning.

The bed, headstock, and tailstock on the 2014B Lathe are made of durable cast-iron, which absorbs vibration, resists flex, and delivers the stable platform that precision turning demands. The tool rest features a hardened steel top rod, providing long-lasting durability and a smooth surface for sliding gouging tools to achieve a superior finish on every project.

Built to adapt, the 2014B gives you more ways to work with confidence. A sliding headstock and tailstock, plus 24-position indexing, expand your turning range while preserving control and repeatability. An Adjustable Stand (sold separately) and 13" Bed Extension (sold separately) allow you to modify the machine to meet your needs.
