The PLANEX LHS 2 is the ultimate drywall and textured ceiling sander for professionals. It features a random orbit sanding motion, an integrated LED light ring, and adjustable length of 82" max (with two Guide Extension accessories equipped). The LHS 2 is the only Festool Drywall Sander with an integrated LED light ring. This light illuminates your work surface so you can see imperfections and adjust accordingly, leaving you with a perfect finish. The sanding head is designed at a 45° angle, which greatly reduces gouging.

The working length of the LHS 2 can be quickly adapted to the working environment. With no extensions equipped, it is 47-1/4" long. Equip the included Guide Extension and the PLANEX LHS 2 becomes 65" long. For an even longer reach, you can install two Guide Extensions and the sander becomes 82" long, making popcorn ceiling removal a breeze.

Drywall sanders tend to be extremely messy/dusty, but the Festool Dust Extraction System solves this problem. When paired with the CT 36 AC Dust Extractor, the PLANEX is virtually dust-free. The hose included with the CT 36 AC locks into the PLANEX for a secure connection, and the AutoClean (AC) function automatically cycles the filter cleaning action to help ensure optimum airflow and suction performance.

The accessories included with the PLANEX LHS 2 will make your sanding applications even smoother. The hose clip attaches to the T-handle, securing both the dust hose and the power cord. The hook-and-loop fasteners conveniently keep your cords secure and out of the way. An interface pad is also included for quick and easy sanding disc changes.

The hole pattern of the D225 Granat Sanding Discs help immensely with dust extraction. The many holes help capture dust through the pad as it is being created. There's also dust extraction happening around the outside of the pad. This coupled with the CT 36 Dust Extractor makes for an extremely clean, dust-free work area.
