The SuperMax 25-50 Drum Sander is the largest open-ended drum sander on the market. It has the capacity to sand a workpiece as wide as 25″ in a single pass, and up to 50” in a double pass. Expand your scope of projects while increasing speed and consistency. Sand everything from stock as short as 2-1/4" or as thin as 1/32"! The 25-50 Drum Sander comes standard on the Closed Mobile Base Stand.

INTELLISAND technology on the 25-50 Drum Sander prevents gouging and reduces the potential for burning stock by automatically adjusting conveyor speed based on load. It incorporates infinitely variable speed settings (0-10’/min) for the ultimate control of conveyor settings.

Details on the 25-50 Drum Sander prove that a lot of consideration went into the design of this machine. The drum carriage is bolted to the base, preventing any movement or alignment issues. The precision-flattened steel conveyor bed is reinforced with four steel cross sections, guaranteeing flatness to less than .010 across the width of the sander.
