The Nova SI 4s is a short stroke sliding table saw and is commonly used for cutting smaller pieces, such as cabinet doors. Its compact footprint makes it ideal for small cabinet and furniture shops with limited space needing standard ripping and crosscutting abilities. While it is compact, it does not lack in power! The Nova SI 4s boasts an 8HP motor and features both a main and scoring unit for versatility.
An independent scoring unit accepts a 120mm diameter blade, ensuring easy and precise cuts in solid wood materials and veneer panels. The scoring blade makes a preliminary cut designed to give the main blade a cleaner cutting path. This prevents tear-out and is excellent for smooth, chip-free cuts in melamine and veneered plywood panels.
The Nova SI 4s has a massive cast-iron blade group which tilts on a trunnion mechanism. This closed system allows for maximum dust removal, and is the most durable tilting design. The blade raises and lowers on a massive double trunnion assembly which guarantees precise tilting. Height adjustment is carried out by a cast-iron structure sliding on ground-steel guides, ensuring ultimate precision with minimal maintenance.
Warranty
SCM warrants that every machine is free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year beginning on the date the machinery is accepted by the customer. Belts, bearings, and common electrical parts carry a six-month warranty. This warranty does not include wearable items or maintenance required in the ordinary course of operation.
