The Nova SI 4K EP Sliding Table Saw delivers on power, precision, versatility, and automation. Powered by an 8HP, 3-phase motor, this saw can handle stock as thick as 5.3" with ease. With a 10.5 ft. squaring stroke, independent scoring motor, dado capability, and the "Ready 3UP" 3-axes control panel, the Nova SI 4K EP is built for high-production shops who value precision as much as ease of use.
Most notable on the Nova SI 4K EP is the "Ready 3UP" overhead control system. This system enables manual, semi-automatic, and automatic operating modes with a memory capacity to store up to 99 custom programs. The operator uses Ready 3UP to manage motorized movements for blade lifting/tilting and rip fence positioning.
The cast-iron saw unit on the Nova SI 4K EP can accommodate a 400mm (15.75") blade with the scoring blade (120mm) mounted, ensuring easy and precise cuts in solid wood materials and veneer panels. This unit runs on dovetail guideways and features high rigidity sliding side trunnions for effortless passes. The scoring blade makes a preliminary cut designed to give the main blade a cleaner cutting path. This prevents tear-out and is excellent for smooth, chip-free cuts in melamine and veneered plywood panels.
Utilize SCM's Thundercut App to get the most out of the Nova SI 4K EP. This app is compatible with iOS and Android operating systems, and allows you to:
- Manage stock material and guides you through the cut
- Create and modify projects, import projects from the main furniture design software ("cpout" file format), and import cutting lists
- Choose different cutting patterns based on app's suggestions, such as "minimum waste," "maximum speed," etc.
- View machine configuration in 2D or 3D
- Print panel labels

Squaring fence with 2 DRO flip stops
-Each stop features a detecting system and micrometric adjustment, and is equipped with independent electronic digital readout on LCD displays. The stop can be positioned close to the blade with a minimum distance of 350mm.
Extra DRO flip-over stop
Angular cutting device with flip-over stops
-This device is pre-set for rapid angle selection and is equipped with a telescopic fence with two flip-over stops.
