The Minimax T 124 is a woodturning lathe for serious woodturners and professional shops. The large 45-1/4" (1,150mm) maximum workpiece length makes the T 124 ideal for projects like stair posts/spindles, table legs, and bed posts.
The Minimax T 124 can do more than just duplicate profiles 1:1. The copying system lets you duplicate a profile and scale it up or down in diameter. This system makes it easy to create matching parts, like spindles or legs, in different sizes while still maintaining consistent proportions.
A mobile steady rest with a pre-cutting tool is included for improved surface finish. The T 124 also features an MT2 revolving tailstock center that supports the workpiece while rotating with it, preventing heat buildup and surface damage.
