A compact and highly precise circular saw with a low investment for DIY woodworkers and craftsmen. The Minimax SC 3C is a single-phase 4.8Hp motor sliding table saw that comes standard with scoring capability. This saw features a 5.5 ft. crosscut capacity that is ideal for processing panels, dado capability, and 45° blade tilt.

The Minimax SC 3C can accommodate a 12” blade without removing the scoring blade. When not using the scoring unit, the scoring blade can be dropped below the table easily. Scoring adjustments are external with no need for tooling. The Minimax SC 3C also has the capability to support a dado blade up to 8" (200mm) in diameter and 3/4" (19mm) thick.

Standard scoring allows you to not only accurately cut panels, but cleanly cut them, too. This is important when cutting particle board, melamine, laminated panels, or anything else to which you intend to apply some type of edge banding. If you are cutting solid wood, simply drop it below the table surface independently of the main blade. The scoring is belt-driven from the main motor.

The large squaring frame on the Minimax SC 3C can handle panels as wide as 49.94" (1,270mm) and is complete with two (2) flip-over stops, swinging arm support, and an eccentric clamp. This machine also comes with a separate miter gauge for miter cuts. This way, the operator can keep the main crosscut fence at 90° and use the separate miter gauge to do the angled cuts, saving time when mitering small panels.

Utilize SCM's Thundercut App to get the most out of the Minimax SC 3C. This app is compatible with iOS and Android operating systems, and allows you to:

• Manage stock material and guides you through the cut
• Create and modify projects, import projects from the main furniture design software ("cpout" file format), and import cutting lists
• Choose different cutting patterns based on the app's suggestions, such as "minimum waste," "maximum speed," etc.
• Set cuts based on the app's 3D sequencer that guides you with step-by-step instructions
• View machine configuration in 2D or 3D
• Print panel labels

Optional Installation & Training
When purchased, installation will be performed by an SCM factory-trained service technician or certified dealer technician. Installation is defined as assembling the machine to its "ready-to-run" state; it does not include floor/masonry work or running electrical, pneumatic, or dust extraction services. Training will be conducted on site by the technician after installation is completed.

Warranty
SCM warrants that every machine is free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year beginning on the date the machinery is accepted by the customer. Belts, bearings, and common electrical parts carry a six-month warranty. This warranty does not include wearable items or maintenance required in the ordinary course of operation.
