The Minimax FS 41ES X is a professional-grade, heavy-duty, long bed jointer/planer combination machine designed to meet the needs of the most demanding environments. It features cast iron tables, a tilting fence, and breakthrough “XYLENT” technology. This technology gives an exacting finish while reducing noise output significantly.

The FS 41ES comes with a XYLENT Cutterhead. XYLENT is the quietest and most durable knife option, making it suitable for heavier cuts. It significantly reduces decibel output from the jointer. It also improves dust extraction since it produces very small chips. The spiral cutterhead shears at an angle instead of cutting head on, minimizing any rippling pattern left on the workpiece.

The standard guard offered on the Minimax Jointer/Planer Combination Machine is a spring-type guard that always covers the unused portion of the knife. Other European-style guards require the guard to be manually moved into place when the fence is readjusted. When processing thick wood, this does not cover the blade as completely.

ES models of Minimax Jointer/Planer Combos have an even simpler and quicker changeover process. The tables open simultaneously with a single handle and lock lever, and have heavy duty springs that make lifting easier for the operator. Unlike competing machines, the dust port on ES machines remains in the same position during changeover between from planer to jointer and vice versa. It simply floats between functions, and this means that the hose doesn't need to be repositioned either, saving the operator time and effort.

The ES series adopts ergonomic solutions like the 87" jointer tables, in ribbed cast iron, that allow for the simultaneous opening towards the inside of the machine with a 90° angle. For maximum long-lasting stability, the cast iron thicknessing tables lift on 4 spindles with dust-protected trapezoidal threads.

Optional Installation & Training
When purchased, installation will be performed by an SCM factory-trained service technician or certified dealer technician. Installation is defined as assembling the machine to its "ready-to-run" state; it does not include floor/masonry work or running electrical, pneumatic, or dust extraction services. Training will be conducted on site by the technician after installation is completed.

Warranty
SCM warrants that every machine is free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year beginning on the date the machinery is accepted by the customer. Belts, bearings, and common electrical parts carry a six-month warranty. This warranty does not include wearable items or maintenance required in the ordinary course of operation.
