The Minimax E 20 is designed to be an economical, reliable, and practical machine for applying edge banding to straight and angled panels. The operator feeds the workpiece against the powered pressure roller, which guides the piece against the 3-roller fence through the banding application. All applications are controlled through the the touchscreen control panel and the manual foot pedal.
The 4.3" touchscreen electronic panel allows users to control the following functions:
A special anti-scratch phenolic material on the worktable ensures the workpiece is not damaged during feeding. The table also adjusts between 0° and 45° for applying edge banding to panels with angled edges. To accommodate large or irregular-shaped workpieces, operators can utilize the front extension support. The three-roller outfeed fence is also easily removeable.
Using the Minimax E 20 is easy. The operator enters the length of the edge they want. The edge feeding starts by pressing the pedal and, at the desired length, the machine cuts the edge. The E 20 can also automatically calculate the perimeter for common shapes such as circles, ellipses, regular polygons, etc.
