The DMC SD 10 is SCM's most compact DMC Wide Belt Sander, making it ideal for small production shops. This sander can process workpieces up to 37" wide. With features like automatic thickness detection, a traction surface belt, and a sturdy steel main frame, the DMC SD 10 will optimize your workspace.
This wide belt sander features one sanding head and a combination drum. This duo allows for aggressive stock removal with smooth feeding. The DMC SD 10 comes with two platens: rigid and soft. The rigid platen is ideal for heavier stock removal, while the soft platen provides lighter finishing passes for finer surface quality (excellent for veneer and delicate surfaces).
The DMC SD 10 can automatically detect the thickness of a workpiece and adjust the table height accordingly. This feature is particularly useful in furniture, door, and millwork production form consistent and precise results. This system also features a dial for decimal adjustment, giving you the option to manually set stock removal.
Workpiece feeding on the DMC SD 10 is stable and secure. Along with an idle infeed roller, this machine also features a diamond-shaped belt. The special geometry of this diamond-shaped profile provides the best traction surface to prevent the workpiece from slipping during feeding. The outfeed roller provides the perfect amount of pressure, especially for short and narrow workpieces.

Installation is defined as assembling the machine to its "ready-to-run" state; it does not include floor/masonry work or running electrical, pneumatic, or dust extraction services.
