Next Wave CNC Shark HD610 PRO

Next Wave CNC's Shark HD6 Series is engineered to meet the needs of makers, woodworkers, and professionals alike. These CNCs feature enhanced mechanics, cutting-edge electronics, and flexible configurations. The Shark HD610 PRO package comes with a 3HP water-cooled spindle, 1/4" and 1/2" collets, a 10.1" touchscreen pendant controller, and a true closed-loop, encoded motor system for superior torque, speed, and precision—accurate to +/-0.001".

The Shark HD610 is built on the proven HD510 foundation with significant enhancements. The HD610 PRO features an expanded cutting area of 25" x 25.75" x 7" for tackling larger, more complex projects. Linear gantry rails on the heavy-duty table provide uncompromising stability.

Built with industrial-grade components, the Shark HD610 PRO is designed to last. The aluminum cradle makes it easy to secure any router with a 3.5" barrel diameter (sold separately). Upgraded lead screws allow cutting at higher speeds, and precision-ground, vibration-dampening couplers ensure smoother operation with improved cut quality. Enhanced 36V controller electronics and a closed-loop, encoded motor system deliver more power, enabling speeds up to 1,000 IPM.

Shark HD6 Series CNCs were also built with convenience in mind. The redesigned aluminum "X-box" offers better access for tramming and maintenance. Removeable side skirts with magnetic interlocks simplifies cleaning your CNC while also protecting you during the process.

This CNC offers 3D carving capability with a 3D model library included. It also offers two control options:

1. Using the included Vectric VCarve Desktop Design Software, you create your project and transfer it to a USB drive which plugs directly into the LCD pendant. The convenient touch screen Pendant interface eliminates the need for a computer controlling the CNC in your shop.
2. For more control interactivity, you can run the Shark HD500 from your computer with the Ready2Control program. This lets you use the exclusive patented Virtual Zero Unlimited program.  This program will adjust your design to fit curves and angles that would be impossible on other brands of machines. (Computer and flash drive not included).
