The SCM Minimax SI X is a circular saw with ±46° double tilting sawblade. It allows simultaneous use of a 400 mm saw blade and 160 mm scoring blade both for 90° cutting and ±46° tilted cutting, guaranteeing the maximum cutting height on veneered panels and solid wood.
The 360 mm sliding table ensures optimal support. Exceptional precision and smoothness: to secure the guides it is not used glue, since the thickness could affect sliding. They are secured with a procedure of aluminum riveting. For exceptional precision and smoothness, the guides are secured with aluminum riveting, not glued.
Panel loading is easy on the large squaring frame with an idle roller at the end. The telescopic squaring fence with the inclined metric scale and two reversible stops can be used to square panels measuring 3,200 x 3,200 mm and for tilted cuts at up to 45° on both sides of the frame.
The Minimax SI X uses the “Ready 3 Up" electronic control (3 standard axes). This feature controls the lifting/tilting of the blade unit and allows the user to set tool data with automatic height adjustment and choose what mode (manual, semiautomatic, and automatic) they prefer as well as program the position of the rip fence. It has a memory capacity of up to 99 programs and also contains a calculator and hour counter.
This saw features angular cutting device with flip-over stops to rapidly perform miter cuts without moving the squaring fence, and a pre-set angular cutting device positioned on the squaring frame to quickly find the most common angles with the squaring fence.
