The SCM Minimax SI X is a professional sliding table saw featuring a saw blade that tilts up to 46° in either direction. Its design allows a 400mm main blade and a 160mm scoring blade to be used simultaneously for both 90° and angled cuts, maintaining maximum cutting capacity when processing veneered panels, plywood, and solid wood.
The 360 x 3200mm anodized aluminum sliding table glides smoothly on precision hardened steel guideways that are permanently integrated into the table through a mechanical cold-forming process, ensuring long-term accuracy and durability. By using this process instead of glue, rigidity and alignment are maintained over a long period of time.
Large panels are easy to handle thanks to the oversized crosscut frame, which includes an integrated support roller at the outfeed end. The telescoping crosscut fence features an angled measuring scale for improved visibility and two reversible flip stops for fast, accurate positioning. It can accommodate panel sizes up to 3,200 x 3,200mm and supports precise angled crosscuts up to 45° to either side of the crosscut frame.
The Minimax SI X uses the “Ready 3 Up" electronic control (3 standard axes). This feature controls the lifting/tilting of the blade unit and allows the user to set tool data with automatic height adjustment and choose what mode (manual, semiautomatic, and automatic) they prefer as well as program the position of the rip fence. It has a memory capacity of up to 99 programs and also contains a calculator and hour counter.
This saw features a miter gauge with flip-over stops to rapidly perform miter cuts without moving the squaring fence, and a pre-set angular cutting device positioned on the squaring frame to quickly find the most common angles with the squaring fence.
