Makita GPR01Z 40V max XGT Cordless Plunge Router 2.25HP (Tool Ony)

The GPR01Z is a 40V brushless cordless plunge router that cuts up to 260 linear feet per charge using just one 4.0Ah battery (sold separately). Boasting a 2.25HP motor and variable speed control between 8,000 - 25,000 RPM, the GPR01Z delivers the same power as comparable corded routers with the convenience of using it anywhere.

The Plunge Router features and on/off switch located on the trigger grip added user convenience. It is engineered with a soft start feature that allows for smoother start-ups and better accuracy. The soft brake feature allows for a more gentle stopping procedure to prevent work material from being damaged. The plunge base features up to 2-3/8" plunge capacity, allowing for fine adjustment for depth accuracy.

For improved efficiency, the router is AWS-capable, meaning it can wirelessly connect to an AWS-compatible Makita Dust Extractor. When the AWS-equipped tool is turned on, the AWS-equipped dust extractor also turns on. When the trigger of the tool is released and stops, the dust extractor stops as well. AWS is intelligent communication that eliminates cords and excessive noise since the dust extractor runs only when the tool is running. Requires AWS Transmitter (sold separately).
