The Mafell ZSX Ec/400 is a specialized tool for creating precise, single-pass cuts in large beams (up to 15-11/16"). At only 31 lbs. it is easily portable to any jobsite. The ZSX can swivel up to 60° from side to side, making it extremely versatile for cross cutting. with the ability to handle solid wood, laminated beams (glulam), SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels), and insulating materials, the ZSX Ec/400 is ideal for timber framers and carpenters who require absolute precision for all-day use.

This innovative chain beam saw incorporates a range of useful features, such as external chain tension adjustment, a dual-mounted tilt guide, reinforced base plate, and a tear-protection device that ensures perfect, clean cuts. Digital electronics include variable speed, smooth start, constant speed under load, and overload protection.

At the heart of the ZSX Ec/400 is the high-output CUprex motor. It enables variable cutting speed and adjusts to your material and application for precise results. Equipped with no-load speed reduction and overload protection, both the saw and the user are protected through every cut.

Includes two carbide-tipped chains that are excellent for the most polished wood applications. Also available with 120V motor.
