The K85-18 Saw delivers corded-level performance without the tether. Two high-performance 18V batteries combine to deliver a sustained output of 36V with variable speed control. Whether working close to the edge, executing perfect cross-cuts, facilitating rapid blade changes, or offering an elegant solution for adjusting the cutting depth, the K85-18 epitomizes ease of use and efficiency.
Built for heavy-duty applications, the K85-18 boasts a 3-7/16" maximum cutting depth (off guide rail) and beveling capability up to 60° for flawless angled cuts. The FLIPPKEIL riving knife system automatically retracts the knife and allows for smooth, safe plunge cuts without ever needing to remove it. A high-performance CUprex motor features variable control speed to match to your specific material and application.

Probably the single best tool I’ve bought in terms of how much capability it provides and how much time it saves me. Absolutely capable of ripping long 12/4 hardwoods in 1 pass and giving an excellent finish. It’s never bogged down and it can move surprisingly fast. I did import the LIHDX batteries from EU and with those this thing is basically a cabinet saw you carry around with you. I’ve become a huge fan of mafell but I was nervous I might not be buying the right tool when I was looking at the K85, however it has honestly exceeded my expectations in just about every way.
