Mafell DuoDoweler DD40 P Duo Dowel System

The DD40 P is the most powerful variant of the Mafell Duo Dowel System. It boasts the largest capacity, allowing users to make dowel holes as large as 5/8" (16mm) in projects such as staircase construction, door frames, large furniture and tables, etc. If you are a timber worker, contractor, or professional furniture builder needing a portable dowel system that creates the strongest joints for the toughest jobs, the DD40 P is the tool for you.

Each plunge of the DD40 P creates a pair of holes for traditional dowels to be inserted. The stop system allows for accurate placement of the holes so that the joining piece is perfectly aligned. Rows of holes can be drilled quickly and accurately with the aid of the included auxiliary stops, even in furniture that is already assembled. Stops facilitate drilling near the edge without the need for marking, saving users time and effort.

The DD40 P can be used with conventional wooden dowels between 1/4" - 5/8" (6 - 16mm) in diameter. This range of dowel sizes gives users the flexibility to match dowels to their applications. This tool is continuously adjustable to match drilling depths, material thicknesses, and joint angles.
