Leigh RTJ400 Router Table Dovetail Jig with ACRTJ Accessory Kit

The Leigh RTJ400 is purpose-built for router tables, making it easy to cut precise dovetails and box joints in materials up to 15-1/2" wide. Compatible with most 1/2" routers and standard router tables*, it integrates seamlessly into nearly any woodworking shop.

Unlike fixed-template jigs that are limited to a single joint size, the RTJ400 creates five sizes of through dovetails at two pitches, three sizes of single-pass half-blind dovetails, and four sizes of box (finger) joints—all with a single jig.

Whether you're building drawers, cabinets, boxes, or fine furniture, the RTJ400 delivers clean, accurate joinery with an efficient setup. Through dovetails can be cut in either wide- or close-spaced patterns for a traditional hand-cut appearance, while the unique clamping system allows both boards to be routed simultaneously for fast, precise half-blind dovetails.

The RTJ400 also produces four sizes of strong, symmetrical box joints—3/4", 3/8", 3/16", and 3/32"—and can easily join boards of different thicknesses, making it ideal for drawer construction and a wide variety of woodworking projects.

Workpieces are securely held against the jig's textured, non-marring clamping surface with cam-acting speed clamps. Easily adjust these clamps to material thickness with one hand. Adjustable injection molded glass reinforced side stops provide accurate board positioning and have a built in offset for half-blind dovetails and even allow for rabbeted drawer fronts.

Along with the standard four 1/2" shank router bits, this package is also shipped with the ACRTJ Accessory Kit, which includes four 8° dovetail bits, two half-blind bits, two box joint bits, a straight bit, an e-Bush (e7), and one collet reducer 1/2" to 8mm.

*Note: A 1-3/8" diameter insert ring for your router table is needed to fit the RTJ400 eBush guide bushing. Check with your router table or router plate manufacturer to find out what adaptation, if any, is required.
