The Top 21 Biscuit Joiner features a height-adjustable cutter. The height can be micro-adjusted via a dial knob by 0.1mm all the way up to 4mm. This function allows you to make a groove in the exact center of your material, for example, in a 19mm thick panel (9.5mm on both sides) instead of positioning it off-center (8mm or 11mm). The Top 21 also has the ability to do any angles or miters at 22.5° - 180° with the unique stop square and swiveling stop.

Another application the Top 21 can easily perform is cutting joints with protruding or recessed edges. If a corner connection is made of coated chipboard, the side is recessed around the rounded edge so that the chipboard layer on the edge is not visible. This recess is possible in an instant with the Top 21 by adjusting the groove position. Groove adjustment is also an advantage when cutting expansion gaps on wooden paneling for ceilings or laminate floors.
