The E20 is a self-clamping connector that works with any Lamello Biscuit Joiner, making it an easy upgrade to your joinery applications. Each connector has curved ridges that lock it in place once it’s inserted and tapped with a hammer, giving you a secure, hassle-free hold. These connectors eliminate the need for clamping glued workpieces and waiting for them to dry, saving you tons of time in the shop. 

There are two versions of connectors: the E20-L for surface connections like picture frames, and the E20-H for strong edge joints, such as drawer boxes. Each connector has curved ridges that lock it in place once it’s inserted and tapped with a hammer, giving you a secure, hassle-free hold.

For an E20-L surface connection, start by positioning your two workpieces where they need to be, with the back sides facing up. Clamp them together and cut a 4mm groove across both pieces so each one holds half of the slot. Apply glue to the edges, bring the parts together, and tap the E20-L connector into the slot with a hammer. As the ridged, angled profile slides in, it locks the joint securely and draws the workpieces tightly together in one motion.

Installing E20-H connectors follows the same steps as the E20-L, except the grooves are made in the edges of workpieces instead of the surface. This makes the E20-H connectors excellent for projects like box drawers and cabinet face frames. See the "Video" tab for more information!
