Divario Connectors make it easy to retrofit shelves or partition walls into pre-assembled cabinets and casework. A groove is routed into the edge of the shelf, where the female connector is inserted. The shelf is then slid between two fixed sides until the female connector engages and clamps onto the male connector. Because clamping occurs only at specific points, rather than along the entire insertion length, installation is smoother and requires less force.

Neither clamping aids nor adhesive are required to insert the components. As a result, the connector makes it possible to assemble the components at the most cost-effective stage in the chain, whether at production, storage, transportation, or assembly. The connector can be fully or only partially fitted on site.

Installation Instructions

1. Zeta P2 only: Remove the front friction tabs by carefully popping them off with a utility knife.
2. Mark the center of the workpiece edge where the groove will be cut.
3. Install the stop square on the Zeta. Align the Zeta’s center mark with your layout mark and lock the stop square in place.
4. Set the Zeta with the bottom depth knob at 0 and the top knob at OFF. Cut the edge using the stop square reference notches: start at the center notch and stop at the right-hand notch to prevent blowout.
5. Set the top knob to 18 and the bottom knob to MAX. Reinstall the friction tabs. Align the stop square with the workpiece edge and cut the Divario groove at both ends of the edge.
6. Insert the female connector into the groove using the Divario Installation Tool. Seat it fully with a dead-blow hammer.
7. On the mating workpiece surface, mark the centerline. Use the Divario Marking Jig to mark the two 8mm hole locations by aligning the center notch and tapping the jig to create drill divots.
8. Drill the 8mm holes, insert the male connectors, and tap them flush with a hammer.
9. Slide the shelf (female connectors) onto the mating piece (male connectors) until fully engaged. Tap gently with a hammer if needed. (See secondary images)
