Laguna 24|BX Band Saw w/DriftMaster Fence 5hp, 1PH, 220V

The Laguna 24|BX Band Saw is the largest saw in Laguna’s Classic Series, built for shops that need serious capacity and consistent accuracy. It offers a full 24" resaw height and 24" throat, making it well-suited for large stock and demanding cuts. Precision-balanced cast-iron flywheels, powered by a 5HP induction motor, deliver smooth performance even under heavy loads.

The saw comes standard with Laguna’s DXIII DriftMaster Fence, a multi-mode system that allows for precise, on-the-fly micro-adjustments without slowing down your workflow. The DX3 features the following modes:

• Precision Mode: Allows you to move the fence via the handwheel to set exact measurements down to the inch or mm.
• Manual Mode: Lets you manually adjust the fence along the scale and lock it into place.
• Drift Angle Mode: By adjusting the knob clockwise or counterclockwise, you can tilt the fence 10° both left and right.
• High/Low Mode: Fence easily changes from high to low position while retaining accuracy.

A reversible manual tape scale in both inches and millimeters is included. The handles are color-coded for user convenience - red for mode selection, black for fence lock, and gray for manual lock. Pair with the optional Flip Stop for tenon cuts and other types of joinery.

Most blade guide systems are designed to support the blade on the sides, and then either above or below the side guides to support the back of the blade. This forces the blade to twist as pressure from the wood being cut is transferred to the back blade guide. Laguna Guides solve this problem by supporting the blade on the sides above and below the back blade guide. By eliminating all blade twist, the Laguna Guide gives the blade unsurpassed stability.

The Laguna Guide System utilizes 10 points of contact, 4 more than traditional guide systems. It features "Space Age" ceramic guide blocks as both side and thrust support. This enables the ceramic piece to gently touch the side of the blade, on all three sides without heat build-up, therefore giving stability, which has never been achieved before.
