The JLT #138B Plate Spreader is designed to accurately and efficiently apply glue to multiple workpieces. It is a great addition to any small- to medium-sized JLT Clamping System (6 to 20 sections), allowing users to quickly apply glue to pieces for cutting boards, cabinet doors, etc.
A perforated 8" x 48" aluminum grid rises from the stainless steel glue container via a foot pedal to provide the correct amount of adhesive. Boards longer than 48" can be dipped twice for maximum efficiency.
After all-day use, no cleanup is required. Simply use the anodizing bottle that comes with the machine to apply a light film of water over the glue. Then, place the cover over the glue pan to keep the adhesive moist—that's it!
