Enduro Tintable 2K Clear and White Polys are General Finishes' most durable topcoats for any commercial application. Made for both interior and exterior projects, you can use 2K Poly on anything from cabinets and trim, to furniture and table tops. Key features include easy application, fast film build & production time, excellent adhesion, plus optimum water, and chemical resistance. Can be used over powder coatings, pre-primed steel, fiberglass, MDF, and all wood surfaces.

Includes NCO Catalyst.

Features
  • Ease of application: Whether in a shop or on the jobsite, Enduro 2K is designed to flow and level for professional/industrial users that apply with AAA, HVLP, Airless, or flatline systems.
  • Tint-able: Can be tinted to any major manufacturer's color deck. Enduro 2K hits the deepest darks, brightest whites, and everything in between.
  • Higher gloss standards: Higher gloss for white and clear, with 90° on a 60° angle.
  • Fast production time: Users can spray 3-4 coats of Enduro 2K and sand in between coats in one day. Cures for use in 5 days.
  • Fast film build: Enduro 2K's are engineered with a combination of larger and smaller-sized resin particles. When combined with the catalyst, these resin particles allow for a thicker, quicker film build than any 1K. Provides a better vertical hang when spraying built-in surfaces on site, with fewer drips or sags.
  • Water- and chemical-resistant: Combining GF's resin with catalyzation allows Enduro 2K to hit a commercial level of water and chemical resistance that exceeds industry requirements and guidelines.
  • Excellent adhesion: Sticks to many surfaces, including clean and prepped wood, fiberglass, and pre-primed steel.
  • Exterior use: This finish has an unusual balance of durability and flexibility, making it the professional’s choice for outdoor projects such as doors, benches, furniture, and tables (do not use on deck surfaces).

Instructions

Mixing

  1. Mix thoroughly to reincorporate solids.
  2. Slowly add 10% of the NCO Catalyst by volume (3.2 oz. per qt. / 12.8 oz. per gal.) to 2K Clear Poly while mixing with a power drill for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Let rest 15 minutes.
  4. Strain with fine-mesh filter.

Application

  1. Spray wet films at 3-5 mil thickness.
  2. Keep your gun at a 90° angle, 6-8" from the surface. On large, flat areas, use wet, even patterns 6-8" wide.
  3. For narrow surfaces, reduce the fan pattern to 2-3" wide to reduce overspray. Overlap each pass 25% to conceal lines.
  4. Finish sand between coats with a fine-grade (220-320) foam sanding pad or gray non-woven abrasive pad to improve smoothness and adhesion.
