Festool's MB 40 Drilling Attachment is the perfect companion when precision is required. As a compact drilling aid, it enables right-angled, precise, and repeatable drilling, regardless of the location.
The MB 40 helps you drill perfectly at 90° for straight, accurate holes every time. Whether you're on the jobsite or in the shop, you simply set your depth, line up your holes, and drill clean through wood, metal, or plastic. Need to drill straight down, into end grain, or make a row of holes? No problem — you can attach dust collection directly to the base so that you can always see your mark.
Standing drill presses take up space and aren't transportable. The MB 40 offers the same precision found on most drill presses with the luxury of taking it anywhere. While compact and easy to carry, it's also solid and stable, so you don't have to compromise durability for convenience; with the MB 40, you get both! It even allows you to drill precise holes for hinges, dowels, and more when used with Festool's Forstner Bit Set.
The included FastFix attachment allows you to snap in Festool Cordless Drills and Hammer Drills without the need for tools.* The MB 40 also comes with a guide rail adapter which allows you to attach the MB 40 to a Festool Guide Rail and drill in a straight line, perfect for long rows of holes. Lastly, the parallel side fence makes edge drilling easy.
