The KAPEX KS 120 remains the most advanced sliding compound miter saw on the market today. Carpenters, furniture-makers, and serious hobbyists will appreciate this saw’s unmatched precision when making crosscuts, miter cuts, bevel cuts, and compound miter cuts. Plus, with stand-out features like dual lasers, a fine adjustment knob for bevel angles, and a forward-rail design, the KAPEX outsmarts and outperforms other miter saws in its class.

Along with the standard ability to cut up to 45° both left and right, the KAPEX can actually go up to 47° maximum. This is especially helpful when cutting crown molding or tapered columns for walls that are not perfectly square. That extra 2° allows you to achieve a long point-to-point match on corners, making sure the odd-angled joint is as tight as possible. Adjustments are made via the angle knob with easy-to-read settings.

The forward-rail design on the KAPEX allows you to set it right up against the wall and still have the ability to cut bevels and miters. This also means that the KAPEX has a compact footprint, giving you more space around the shop or at the jobsite. Fully-adjustable dual-line lasers clearly define the cut area, making it easy to align cuts from the left or the right.

Besides the usual position for cutting or trimming boards/panels, the KAPEX incorporates a special cutting position that provides greater cutting capacity by utilizing the back portion of the blade. The KAPEX is locked into the special cutting position with the flip of a lever. Cut crown molding up to 6-5/8" in the nested position, providing a cutting capacity equal to some 12" miter saws. You can also cut material vertically up to 4-3/4" in height!

Dust extraction on the KAPEX is efficient and simple. A dust hood positioned at the rear of the blade directs saw dust from the blade into the dust port. This pliable rubber hood arrests chips and helps the KAPEX achieve up to 91% dust extraction when using a 36mm dust extractor hose reducing the time spent cleaning up.
