Festool Cordless Random Orbit Sander ETSC 2 125-Basic

The ETSC 2 125 Cordless Sander combines all the power and performance of a Festool Sander with mobile, cordless convenience. Compatible with existing Festool 18V batteries, the ETSC 2 gives you the complete freedom to take it anywhere. With features like an LED ring light and a low-profile design, this sander will improve your work flow and take your sanding applications to new heights.

The built-in LED light ring on the ETSC 2 is one of those features you don’t realize you need until you use it. It improves your visibility and makes it easier to see swirl marks, high spots, and imperfections while you sand. With three settings (full brightness, 50% dim, or off), you can dial in the light for any workspace, whether you’re sanding in a dim garage, a basement corner, or a shed with no natural light at all.

Designed for maximum comfort, the ETSC 2 Cordless Sander features a low-profile shape so that it fits naturally in your hand. Built-in vibration protection helps reduce arm, hand, and wrist fatigue so that you can get jobs done quicker without strain. Powered by a robust 18V 4.0Ah battery, the ETSC 2 is still lightweight and comfortable, weighing only 4.25 lbs. with the battery pack (sold separately).

The ETSC 2 125 comes with a D125 Protector that acts as a bodyguard for your workpiece edges as well as your sanding pad. It lets you sand right up to an edge with confidence, keeping your lines clean and preventing those accidental dings or over-sanded spots that lead to extra cleanup work. Because it’s made from a non-abrasive material, it won’t leave marks on your project, and it also reduces wear to the pad itself!

There are two options for dust extraction on the ETSC 2. The first is the included dust collection bag. This reusable bag captures dust efficiently and provides hose-free extraction. Made from sturdy cotton fabric, the bag can also be washed! The second option is to connect the ETSC 2 to any compatible Festool Dust Extractor with a 27mm (1-1/16”) dust hose.

Don't forget sanding discs! The ETSC 2 125 uses D125 (5") discs.
