The Domino is now cordless! Featuring an improved indexing system for faster mortising registration, the DF 500 is ready to bring the precision and versatility it's known for, now without the need for cords and outlets. The ergonomic D-handle is designed for all-day comfort and fatigue-free control.

The DFC 500 is part of Festool's 18V battery system, giving you full mobility around the shop or the jobsite. Use it with any Festool 18V battery you already have, or purchase one or a set with a charger separately! Pair it with a Cordless Dust Extractor, and you've got a completely cord-free setup that goes wherever you do.

The DFC 500 delivers strong, twist-proof connections with speed and accuracy. Domino Tenons combine the strength of mortise-and-tenon joints with the flexibility of biscuits, perfect for both fine furniture and heavy-duty builds. Whether you're working indoors or outside, on delicate trim or thick panels, Domino gives you the stability and versatility needed for any job.

The standout feature of the Domino DFC 500 is its pendulum cutting action. The cutter doesn’t just spin, it rotates and swings simultaneously to create smooth, elongated mortises in one easy plunge. Because the motion is so efficient, it generates less heat, helping your cutters stay sharper longer.

Built-in indexing pins and depth presets make it easy to line up cuts and match tenon sizes. Use the four pins to position from a reference edge or an existing mortise. Choosing a cutting depth is as simple as turning the integrated dial to one of the presets: 12, 15, 20, 25, or 28mm. Each one matches your tenon size and panel thickness.

Domino Tenons feature expanding glue pockets and side grooves for a secure, twist-proof fit. The oval-shaped tenon locks in tight and resists rotation, so there's no need to align workpieces. Beech tenons are ideal for interior work, while Sipo tenons are weatherproof and resistant to insects and mold, making them perfect for outdoor use.

The DFC 500 comes with a 5mm cutter. To use with other sizes of dominos, make sure to get the compatible cutter as well!
