Festool Domino tenons serve as a true floating tenon in mortise-and-tenon applications such as furniture and cabinetmaking, casing, and frame work. Domino tenons feature a flat, elongated design that will not rotate, ensuring perfect alignment for both edge and face gluing. The dense beech material will not expand, leaving you with clean, flat, and consistent surfaces.
Domino tenons are embossed with glue pockets and are approximately 2mm shorter than nominal length, allowing space in the mortise for glue. Suitable for both plywood and solid wood applications.
For use with both the DF 500 and DF 700 Domino Joiners.
Not sure which cutters to use? The size of the cutter depends on the height of the Domino tenon. These tenons have a height of 8mm, so you would need to use an 8mm cutter to make the correct size groove.
