The Festool SYS-AIR Air Filter is a Systainer-based, portable air filtration system. Its compact and lightweight design make it ideal for mobile use, and since it is in a Systainer format, it seamlessly stacks on top of other Systainers and CT Dust Extractors. Featuring a powerful two-stage filter system, the SYS-AIR aggressively cleans the air by removing even the tiniest dust particles that could contaminate the area and the air you breathe.

Even with optimal extraction, fine, invisible dust can linger in the air while sanding, drilling, sawing, etc., which may leave contaminants in the ambient air. With a powerful airflow of up to 400 cubic feet per minute (CFM) (680 m³/h), this air filter helps to ensure excellent circulation, effectively removing fine dust particles.

Air is captured via a two-stage system featuring a preliminary filter and a main filter. The preliminary filter is responsible for catching a vast majority of larger particles, and it also protects the main filter. You can choose from two adjustable airflow settings based on dust levels in your environment. Airflow is dispersed upwards in three directions (left, right, and back) to minimize dust disturbance and create fewer disruptive air currents.

At only 22 lbs. the SYS-AIR is perfect for both on-the-go and in-the-shop use. You also have flexible installation options. The SYS-AIR can be set on an even floor surface or used while it is stacked on top of a CT Dust Extractor. To save space, it can also be mounted from the ceiling using the optional Ceiling Bracket accessory (sold separately). It can even be integrated into a dust protection wall at jobsites.

A signal light on the SYS-AIR notifies you when the filter is clogged or needs changed. The power cord is neatly stowed in the lid compartment, keeping it out of the way during transport and storage.
