The Formula S 640P is the beast of the Professional Series Bandsaws. This bandsaw comes in either single-phase or 3-phase depending on your electrical specs and production needs. With single-phase power, you get the proven 4.8hp motor. If you are higher production or primarily do resawing, you can get yourself the 3-phase version with a whopping 9hp! With such robust power, you can easily resaw 24” logs while still having the ability to do fine intricate detail and contour work. Whatever your project needs are, the S 640P delivers!

The Europeans-style guides provide quick and easy adjustments without the need for tools. They can be adjusted up or down to accommodate the tilting of the table. When you are not tilting the table, you can raise the guides all the way up to the lower table surface to decrease the distance between your guides, maintaining maximum stability through your cut.

This machine boasts plenty of features. Thick cast iron wheels are perfectly balanced to reduce vibration and produce a fly wheel effect to aid in the processing of your pieces. Heavy-duty steel frames are the most rigid in their class and are designed to withstand the tension required for a carbide tipped blade.

The Formula S 640P also has vulcanized tires that not only bonds the rubber tires to the wheel, but fuses them so they become like one, which means greater transfer of power. This also makes it nearly impossible to shred them if a blade breaks, and there is less wear and maintenance over their lifetime.

Two dust ports are included on this band saw, not just one like most others. This helps ensure that you will capture more debris, more efficiently.
