The Minimax SI 315ES Sliding Table Saw has proven itself in American cabinet shops for many years. This saw’s robust features and components make it ideal for businesses and demanding workshops that process large amounts of sheet goods. Equipped with a 4.8HP motor, 14.19” wide sliding table, and 10.5 ft. stroke, the SI 315ES is built to handle a wide variety of materials, from plywood to melamine to OSB.

Along with a maximum blade capacity of 12.37” (315mm), the Minimax SI 315ES also features a scoring unit that accepts a 4.7” (120mm) expandable scoring blade. The scoring blade makes a preliminary cut designed to give the main blade a cleaner cutting path. This prevents tearout and is excellent for smooth, chip-free cuts in melamine and veneered plywood panels. Adjusting the scoring blade can be done via the handwheel on the front of the machine.

The Minimax SI 315ES has the ability to use a dado stack, a feature not normally found on most European sliding table saws. The operator can use a dado blade (not included) as large as 8" (200mm) and as thick as 3/4" (19mm). It also comes with a miter gauge that can be pre-set for quick angle selection and has two flip-over stops.

The Minimax SI 315ES features a massive cast-iron blade unit that contains both the main motor and the scoring blade motor. Setting the height of the blade is done by way of a lifting system that runs on cast-iron “dovetail” guideways. The sliding carriage on the SI 315ES features steel ball bearings that run on tempered and calibrated steel guideways. These guideways are embedded into the aluminum extrusions mechanically for absolute rigidity — no adhesive is used!

Panel loading has never been easier thanks to the 47.2” x 25.59” (1,200 x 650mm) squaring frame that features a steel idle roller to facilitate infeed and outfeed operations. This frame boasts an extendable squaring fence with two reversible flip stops and a metric/imperial ruler tilted towards the operator for convenient measuring.

Utilize SCM's Thundercut App to get the most out of the Minimax SI 315ES. This app is compatible with iOS and Android operating systems, and allows you to:

• Manage stock material and guides you through the cut
• Create and modify projects, import projects from the main furniture design software ("cpout" file format), and import cutting lists
• Choose different cutting patterns based on the app's suggestions, such as "minimum waste," "maximum speed," etc.
• Set cuts based on the app's 3D sequencer that guides you with step-by-step instructions
• View machine configuration in 2D or 3D
• Print panel labels

Optional Installation & Training
When purchased, installation will be performed by an SCM factory-trained service technician or certified dealer technician. Installation is defined as assembling the machine to its "ready-to-run" state; it does not include floor/masonry work or running electrical, pneumatic, or dust extraction services. Training will be conducted on site by the technician after installation is completed.

Warranty
SCM warrants that every machine is free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year beginning on the date the machinery is accepted by the customer. Belts, bearings, and common electrical parts carry a six-month warranty. This warranty does not include wearable items or maintenance required in the ordinary course of operation.
