Designed for small- to medium-sized woodworking shops, the DMC SD 30 RCS 110 Wide Belt Sander is well suited for calibrating and sanding solid wood, as well as veneered panels. This sander can process workpieces up to 43" wide. It also handles a wide range of general sanding tasks with consistent, reliable results. The steel drum and combination sanding head provide an extremely smooth and high-quality finish on workpieces.
The rigid steel drum and the versatile combination sanding head working together give this wide belt sander the flexibility to handle a wide range of sanding tasks with confidence. The steel drum provides the firm, consistent pressure needed for accurate thickness calibration and efficient material removal, even on wood with uneven grain. The combination head refines the surface for a smoother, more uniform finish.
The DMC SD 30 can automatically detect the thickness of a workpiece and adjust the table height accordingly. This feature is particularly useful in furniture, door, and millwork production form consistent and precise results. This system also features a dial for decimal adjustment, giving you the option to manually set stock removal.
The "CS" combined unit is the key to the flexibility of the DMC SD 30. The ability to use the sanding roller and pad either independently or together allows the machine to deliver consistently high-quality results across a wide range of applications.
"RCS" versions of this sander with 43" working widths feature electronic sectional sanding pad capabilities, allowing safe and precise sanding of honeycomb-core veneered panels. Designed for greater flexibility and productivity, this machine delivers high-quality finishing in a single pass. It’s well suited to the full range of everyday sanding needs in woodworking and veneering shops, from solid wood to veneered panels.
