The FS 30C is the ultimate space-saving jointer/planer combo. It delivers premium power in a compact size without compromising on quality. Made in Italy, this robust machine boasts features such as a long 59” cast-iron table, 4.8HP single-phase motor, and a quick-tilting jointer fence. With one of the quickest change-over times in the industry, the FS 30C is a no-brainer for shops with limited space looking for a high-quality, two-in-one solution.
For small one- or two-person shops where space is tight, a jointer/planer combo delivers serious capability without the footprint of two separate machines. Instead of juggling a narrow jointer and a portable planer (often on wheels or in storage), you get wider jointing capacity and robust planing in one setup. That means fewer workarounds for common stock, more horsepower, and consistently better results.
Changing between jointer and planer on the FS 30C is quicker and easier than on similar machines. This is thanks to the two dust collection outlets (one for the jointer, the other for the planer) being positioned on the same side. Also, when changing back from planer to jointer, it is not required to drop the planer table all the way down. The entire changeover process can be done in under a minute!
Also included is an American-style, OSHA-approved standard guard. American safety standards state that when the guard is moved out of the way and let go, it must automatically recover the cutterhead, which is why the American “pork chop” guard is standard. It is spring-loaded to comply with American safety standards.
The FS 30C - T comes with a "Tersa" Knife cutterhead. Tersa Knives are double-sided for long life, disposable, and lock into place when you start the machine — no special tools required!
