The Details:

The Zeta P2 is the handheld joiner for P-System Connectors. The innovative profile groove coupled with Lamello's connector system greatly reduces labor time while also eliminating the need for additional fastening materials like glue or screws. This cordless 18V version gives you the convenience of working anywhere without needing a power outlet.

What sets the Zeta P2 apart from other biscuit joiners is its vertical cutting movement. During the groove cutting process, the Zeta's mechanical drive automatically performs a vertical movement at the end of the cut to create the unique groove needed for P-System connectors. The vertical movement for the profile groove is triggered automatically when the maximum cutting depth is reached and requires just a fraction of a second. All P-System connectors are then manually inserted into this groove, ensuring a fast form-locking anchorage.

The Zeta P2 can cut P-System grooves for P-System connectors with varying installation depths simply by turning the P-System depth adjuster. This eliminates the need to change cutters. The Zeta P2 can also be used as a standard biscuit joiner for original biscuits by simply deactivating the profile groove function and changing to a 4mm blade.

This Zeta P2 Kit comes with a diamond-tipped cutter, which has a PCD coating on its carbide teeth. The diamond cutter is extremely rigid and can last for up to 10,000 cuts, making it ideal for most materials, including abrasive ones like MDF, particle board, and plywood. If you're working with denser hardwoods, you'll want the carbide cutter. Both the carbide and diamond cutters are compatible with the Zeta P2 and can be purchased separately as needed.
