Festool has taken the revolutionary concept of the Domino Joiner and made it larger with the Domino XL Joiner. The Domino XL offers a more elegant solution to the challenge of large-scale joinery. Now complementing the capabilities of the original Domino DF 500, the Domino XL has a maximum tenon size of about 5-1/2" (140mm) in length.

The Festool Domino XL picks up where the original Domino left off, morticing up to 10mm or nearly 1/2" thick! It includes the trim stop and cross stop to get perfectly aligned mortises the first time, every time. With the Domino XL, you’ve got a system light and nimble enough for use anywhere in the shop or on the jobsite. When the work piece is too large to come to the machine, this makes all the difference. Precision placement of solid hardwood tenons guarantees not only a perfect fit, but a finished product that will last for generations.

The DF 700 Set comes with a 12mm cutter. To use with other sizes of dominos, make sure to get the compatible cutter as well!
