Mr. Inman will demonstrate how to make a waterfall table from rough slab to ready-to-be-finished table using the Festool system. Starting with straight lining one edge of the slab with the TS 75 and guide rails, cutting the miter with the TS 75 saw and rails, using the Domino joiner to join the leg to the table top, using the Rotex sander to get the surface prepped for the finish, with all tools utilizing the CT Dust Extractors making cleanup near non-existent.

French Polishing

Ken Ellis will be teaching the basics of french polishing. A French polish finish is outstanding for showing off the beauty of any wood surface. It also dries quickly, so you don't have to worry about dust settling on it, and does not require sanding between coats or an expensive ventilation system. However, many consider it too tricky, time consuming, or requiring too much skill to consider using. While French polishing does require some technique, you can get a satisfactory finish with just a little bit of practice. This workshop will give you the experience, know-how, and confidence to apply a beautiful French polish finish to your projects.
