When you rely on accuracy for a perfectly finished project, the OakTree Woodworkers Square is here to help!
These squares have a convenient 6" blade and 4" handle making it the perfect size for most projects without getting in the way. The addition of 1/4" pieces of aluminum to each side creates a thick, 3/4" handle so it can rest, hands free, on the edge of a board or stand on it's own to check perpendicular alignment. These additional pieces are bolted to the square with 304 stainless steel pins for uncompromised rigidity so that they never go out of alignment. There is even a notch on the inside of the square so you can mark all the way to the edge of your board.
Manufactured locally in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the OakTree Woodworkers Square is accurate within one thousandth of an inch or less for the entire length of the tool and is ideal for use anywhere you need a perfect 90-degree angle. Use this square to set saw blades and jointer fences, scribe perfectly straight lines and verify joint or template angles quickly and easily.
The square itself is machined from a solid piece of 6061 aluminum, and all components are bead blasted for a velvety-soft finish. You can feel the quality of this tool from the moment you pick it up. It is laser marked in 1/16" increments on both sides of the blade for clear and precise marking. Its green anodized color makes it easier to see any gaps and will make it stand out in your shop so you never have to hunt for it!
