Sheen:

Osmo TopOil is a special oil and wax combination used as a treatment on wood kitchen countertops and general interior woodwork. It is made on a base of natural plant oils and waxes. The surface is protected against common household substances, such as wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water.

When dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals and plants and is suitable for children’s toys and resistant to perspiration and saliva. Oils like TopOil 3056 Clear Matte enhance the natural color of wood. Osmo TopOil is also food safe.

Osmo TopOil is ideal for the protection of furniture surfaces and work surfaces made of solid wood or edge glued panels (e.g. kitchen countertops, desks, shelving etc.) in indoor areas. Also suitable for cork and OSB.

Don't forget your brushes and cloths!

Aftercare

*Oiled surfaces should not be cleaned with a steam cleaner or steam mop as this degrades the performance of the finish.

REGULAR CLEANING - Kitchen work surfaces and table tops that have been treated with Osmo Top Oil can be cleaned with Osmo Wash and Care and a damp cloth, then wiped dry.

DEEP CLEANING - Stubborn marks and stains can be removed by using Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner that both cleans and regenerates oiled surfaces

RENOVATION - Renovating, even partially, is easy. Just clean and re-treat worn areas with a thin coat of Osmo Top Oil – no sanding, no repair marks, no removal of previous Top Oil finish. No repair marks will be visible if applied thinly and appropriately.

FINISHING - If a deeper satin finish is required, the oiled surface can be polished with Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner once the surface has fully dried.
