The L’invincibile F 7 T is the heaviest duty, long bed 20” jointer designed to meet the needs of high production shops. Standard features on this machine make it as productive, efficient and dependable as possible without sacrificing safety.

All SCM Jointers use aged cast iron tables that are machine polished to the highest tolerances. These castings are ribbed to ensure maximum strength and to avoid problems with the tables warping or breaking during use. The longer tables ensure board straightness. The L’invincibile F 7 T tables are over 118” long to make sure that the workpiece will be straight every time.

All SCM Jointers also incorporate a parallelogram movement of the infeed and outfeed tables. This system has the table height adjustment through a system of four cams (one per corner of support) that pivot on a radius equal to the head radius. This radiused pivot ensures that the table chip breaker remains in the correct position from the head.

Some manufacturers use a wedge type movement which allows the table and chip breaker to move away from the head as it is adjusted for more removal. This system allows splintering and a poor quality finish. The SCM Group parallelogram design and engineering eliminates these issues.

Integrated into the jointer fence, the additional overturning fence ensures operator safety when machining small dimensioned work pieces. This standard accessory provides the operator with increased clearance to handle the workpiece when fully pressed up against the fence.

The standard guard offered on the L'invincibile F 7 is a specially designed European Cutterhead Guard which passes all American safety standards. The guard moves out of position automatically to accommodate your workpiece as it passes underneath the guard for face jointing and edge jointing. This guard always covers the unused portion of the knife. Other European style guards require the guard to be moved manually into place when the fence is readjusted or when the workpiece must pass through.

The F 7 includes the quick change knife heads by "Tersa." This cutterhead eliminates the necessity of gauging the knives each time to ensure proper setting position. The Tersa knives automatically reference into position when the head is turned on. Removal of the knives is as simple as tapping down the wedge blocks and sliding out the knives. Since the knives are two-sided, they can be flipped over, reinserted, and used again.
