The Cantek GT760ARD 30″ Double Surface Planer has a robust cast-iron body for industrial planing day in and day out. The spiral insert knife cutterheads produce a smooth planed finish with maximum stock removal. The material is passed over the bottom head with a spring-loaded pin feed system allowing it to act like a jointer to flatten the board prior to being planed to an accurate thickness with the top head.
This double surface planer is designed and manufactured for planing two sides of wood
products. It is constructed of upper and lower cutterhead for planing both sides of wood in one feed.
The workpiece is fed into the machine for planing by a spike conveyor that holds the
workpieces firmly, permitting for stable, heavy-duty cutting. The feed speed is variable
to meet various types of workpiece requirement.
